Lyme Disease is a bacterial disease transmitted by the bite of an infected tick.
Recommended for: dogs and puppies older than 12 weeks which live, work, or play in areas where they are at high risk for exposure to ticks. Examples: camping/hiking, hunting, or living in rural, wooded, or grassy areas.
Zoonotic disease (contagious to humans): Not directly from your pet, but Lyme disease can be transmitted by an infected tick.
Initial vaccine and one booster in 3-4 weeks, then annual booster
